Halloween season has arrived at The Flats at Avalon Park, and residents are invited to join in on two fun events this month. 

First up, the Halloween Door Decorating Contest. Decorations must be completed by October 27th, with judging on the following day. First, second, and third place winners will be announced on October 28th at 5:30 PM. Participants must ensure that decorations only cover their door and may only use tape to hang décor. Decorations cannot obstruct walkways. Overall décor cannot extend beyond 5 inches from the door. Fake blood, profanity, and offensive imagery are not permitted. Winning residents must be present on October 28th to receive a prize. 

 That same evening, join The Flats for the Goodie Bag Grab-N-Go on Wednesday, October 28th from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at The Flats Leasing Office. Stop by for a sweet treat, see the door decorating contest winners announced, and feel free to come in costume. This event is for residents only, while supplies last.
